MELEC is based in LEBANON, with its Headquarters in GHORFINE, and branch   offices in France and Iraq. In addition, Melec occupies a total of 5000 m2 Mobile offices located on Project Sites.

The growth of MELEC in the last years is mainly based on the professional skills and experience of its personnel. Melec staff falls under the following categories:

  • Technical members of staff:   Experts, Office Engineers, Site Engineers, Technicians, and qualified labourers.
  • Administrative members of staff : Procurement specialists, Logistic specialists, and Accountants
  • Supervisory members of staff : Chief Engineers and Project Managers

Most of MELEC Engineers and technicians hold training certificates from international companies, and have more than 10 years experience in Electrical Contracting projects. Furthermore, Most of Melec administrative staff holds Bachelor or Masters University degrees.

Currently, MELEC employs about 180 staff members; however it can mobilize up to 300 Employees on project sites depending on demand.

In order to obtain satisfying results, General contracting companies, pay a lot of care to many factors such as excellent management, a serious staff, hard work and a good reputation… but these factors solely can’t bring benefits without owning excellent equipments.

MELEC equipment is highly specialized for Electrical works and it includes a broad range of  materials, vehicles , tools , testing and commissioning apparatus for HV cables , HV substations, Distribution substations , Lighting ….

Moreover, MELEC is also remarkable in carrying out civil works related to electrical     projects and is fully equipped to be capable of executing its business with high standards.

Due to its financial facilities in many national and international banks, Melec has the capability of purchasing, leasing or renting additional equipment for site works when there is additional demand.
